PROJECT AT A GLANCE

The $80 million revitalization of the historic Mercantile Library and Formica buildings has transformed two of downtown Cincinnati’s historic structures into a vibrant, mixed-use community now known as The Historic Mercantile Building.

The development features 172 luxury apartments—ranging from studios to three-bedroom penthouses—and more than 76,000 square feet of commercial space. The upper floors of the Mercantile Library Building remain home to the Mercantile Library, a cultural institution that has anchored Cincinnati since 1845.

With a rooftop Skydeck offering panoramic views, a private event center, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and refined common spaces, the project delivers modern living while honoring the past. The Historic Mercantile Building plays a central role in the continued revitalization of Cincinnati’s urban core.

Modern office space with large windows, city view, light-colored walls and ceiling, carpeted floor, and a kitchen island with a wooden finish and black handles.
A cozy living room with green walls, wooden floors, and large windows with green curtains. There are various upholstered chairs, a sofa, a fireplace, framed artwork, bookshelves, and lamps providing warm lighting.
